Teachers this month I have been searching for some new app to share with you. I think I have found a good one. If you have a need to send out a form to parents, like a syllabus, or field trip permission slip. You might consider Classtree.
Classtree is similar to many of those apps that allows you to text, or email parents. The thing that I like is that it allows you to attach documents to the message. You can run it from your iPad or from your computer at www.classtree.co .
. Quizlet is a free study tool app that allows teachers to send content to students both in and out of the classroom. Students can use the app to take charge of their own learning. Teachers can use it to share study materials and track a student's progress. There are six different study tools for all different learning styles, from flashcards, to test mode, to game mode.
In addition there is an option called Quizlet Live which allows students to work in teams to work together to solve problems. Students find it fun and engaging. Check it out at quizlet.com
